The Music I Hear
June 22, 2008 by alfonsoveck
Everyday, I hear a certain kind of music. Not the kind generated from human voices or instruments made by human hands. One that almost all of us take for granted.
It is the kind of music that proves the existence of the Source of our life and the reality beyond it.
“… If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear. …” Mark 4:22-24

amen, brother, amen.
i hear this kind of sound, too. it’s just sad that because of today’s maddening noise pollution, many are deaf and the still small voice of God is never heeded.
this beautiful poem can be made into an inspirational song.
thank you ’’’’’iwin and Manoy Doro! This poem was really intended to be a song as I structured it. I hope one of the kids would someday have the desire of arranging it into one.
how do you thread those lovely rhymes? they flow like silk on the skin…
I really don’t know. Words just start out as rough boulders. Everytime my thoughts flow like water, I subject them to it and wait until they become smooth river stones before I pick them up. I mean, it takes time. Plenty of it.
